I got to watch the Speed Racer movie and -Sweet Merciful Neptune- this movie was tailor-made for me! Out of 5 stars, I give it 6! The kid playing the role of Spridle is the next Shia Laboef (I hope I spelled that right). Chim Chim was golden and everything was just amazing. Out of respect to Stephen Colbert, I will not discuss Rain’s performance.
Let’s just say that I left the theatre more excited than a reasonable person should be… and I was surprised that there was no line to see this film. Iron Man had a line-up… and it was the second week!? (Iron Man was very good too… 5 out of 5 stars)
Speed Racer deserves some of your love! And I don’t mean the movie… just Speed. I bought myself the complete original manga by Tatsuo Yoshida. Oh, Trixie!
